Our Story

Antonio Lomeli, the founder of ALPD, began his career in painting at the age of 19. Under the tutelage of Tom Bricca, Antonio worked his way up to lead foreman with Rose Valley Painters for close to a decade. It was at this time that he started his own company and began to work under the name “Lomeli’s Painting”, followed by “A.L. Painting”, until finally landing on “Antonio Lomeli Painting & Decorating (ALPD)” as of Jan 2020.

ALPD is dedicated to providing superior quality craftsmanship on every project they work on, as well as listening to and working with clients to best serve their specific visions and needs. Antonio believes a great paint job starts with great painters, and his crew is a direct reflection of that. He cares just as much about taking the needs of the client into consideration as he does about his employees, leading to a consistently superb group of hard-working, dedicated, and talented painters.

Antonio's drive and personable nature, along with his work ethic and attention to detail, has led him to be the go-to choice for a wide variety of notable figures in the bay area, including: acclaimed movie directors, writers, musicians, top real estate agents, entrepreneurs, doctors, lawyers, and interior designers, including the late John Wheatman (acclaimed San Francisco interior designer). Many of his return clients are people who expect consistently high quality work, and know that for all their painting needs, ALPD always delivers.

Antonio loves painting, but what he loves most is that it has allowed him to support his family and provide a quality of life he is very grateful for. His family is his greatest motivator.
